Shipping & Returns

Payment, Shipping, and Return Policy
Scott-Gross only ships products to the 48 contiguous United States and to Alaska, and Hawaii with some restrictions. We can not ship to military APO addresses. If you live outside the United States, we ship items on a limited basis. We will only ship items to foreign addresses with prior written authorization. To receive authorization, email isales@scottgross.com No item/items with combined weight exceeding 115 pounds can be shipped to a foreign address. This generally limits an order to parts, clothing, or light weight machines. We will not ship orders exceeding $2000.00 outside of the U.S. Payment We accept payment in the form of Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. We collect your credit card information on-line but process your payment off-line. This allows shipping charges if necessary prior to credit card processing.

Calculating Shipping

Shipping charges are calculated real time for orders under 150 pounds. Orders over 150 pounds may or may not be quoted a shipping price. The final shipping costs wil be confirmed via email or phone call for your final approval. Although we collect your credit card information at the time of your purchase, you will not be charged until confirmation of final shipping charges. All items under 150 lbs are sent UPS ground, FedEx ground, or via United States Postal Service on a case by case basis. Faster services are available for increased rates. Heavier items are sent Yellow Freight, UPS Freight, FedEx Freight, or other service at our discretion to minimize your freight costs.

Sales Tax

We collect sales tax in any state we have a physical presence. Our stores do not necessarily cary all products listed on our website, nor do they necessarily use the same pricing struture. Any prices listed on the website are true only for our website and governed by our Pricing Policy. Returns and Exchanges Our general policy is that we do not take returns or exchanges. Our items are carefully inspected, packaged carefully, and shipped insured. The no-return policy helps us keep our costs down and offer pricing that can beat that of brick and mortar stores and other on-line distributors. If your purchase does not function or arrives damaged, we will work with you to get a replacment from the manufacturer subject to the requirements set forth by that manufacturer, or a reimbursement from the shipping agent. If you feel an item was grossly misrepresented, we will work with you to find an amicable solution, which may or may not include a return or exchange at our discretion. Your business, afterall, is very important to us and we will strive to keep you a satisfied customer.
