Brazing carbide tool assemblies, joining parts subjected to corrosive materials and atmospheres, fabricating and repairing stainless steel food handling equipment, and joining ferrous and non-ferrous materials (excluding the white metals.)
Procedure
Thoroughly clean area to be brazed. Recommended joint clearance is .002" to .005". Paint joint area with All-State No. 110 or S-200 Flux reduced with water or alcohol if necessary. With a slightly carburizing flame heat joint rapidly and uniformly keeping torch in constant motion. Allow to cool slowly and then remove flux residue with warm water.
