A smooth drawn, uniform surfaced stainless steel wire useful in applications where uniform appearance is essential. For use on stainless steel types 304, 305, 308, 308L, 321 and 347 as well as other 18-9 stainless steels where carbide precipitation may arise.

The addition of silicon to this chrome nickel alloy significantly increases its wetting action,resulting in a smooth, evenly rippled weld bead at faster travel speeds. Especially useful in applications where uniform appearance is essential such as appliances, furniture and hospital, kitchen and food processing equipment.
