McKay Hardalloy 121 covered electrode deposit is a high carbon austenitic stainless steel alloy. It has high impact resistance and high-temperature wear resistance. It is often used for the final two or three passes on manganese frogs and crossings.

OPERATIONAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Hardalloy 121 operates similar to that of a stainless steel electrode. It has a very smooth, stable arc.
