TM-101 is an all position gas-shielded flux-cored wire designed for welding of high strength steels such as A514, A710, and similar HSLA and Q&T steels. TM-101 offers exceptional low temperature impact toughness with tensile strength in the 105,000-115,000 psi range. TM-101 provides excellent welder appeal by offering a smooth stable arc, low spatter, low smoke generation, and smooth bead profile. The quick freezing slag is ideal for high deposition welding while maintaining a flat bead profile. It is recommended for single and multiple-pass welding in all positions with 75% Ar/25% CO2 shielding gas.
