Tube-Alloy 861-S deposits a premium chrome-molybdenum steel composition. It can be used as buildup or overlay for steel mill roll applications. It offers superior resistance to softening in service versus mild steel deposits.

OPERATIONAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Tube-Alloy 861-S is a high-deposition rate wire that produces sound, porosity-free, crack-free weld deposits.  McKay MK-N is recommended.
