McKay Tube-Alloy 8620-S Hard Facing Submerged Arc Wire - 1/8" Wire - 60 lb Coil - S616743-062

Tube-Alloy 8620-S is a low alloy steel composition. Its sound, tough deposit makes it an excellent choice for steel mill roll build-up.

OPERATIONAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Tube-Alloy 8620-S is designed for build-up of most carbon and low alloy steels. It is commonly used as buffer layers and build-up layers prior to application of two or three layers of harder deposits with Tube-Alloy overlay wires. McKay HF-N is recommended.
